An emotional passage on the enviorment?

We have to write an essay on the enviornment but I dont know how to write something emotional about it or something which gets peoples attention? Any ideas?

Realize that everything cycles. Things live and things die it is a huge part of the natural order of things. When one species becomes extinct there is usually a reason for it and another evolves to take its place. This has been taking place for millions of years (even before man). Some creatures do not have the capacity to evolve beyond a certain point they literally paint themselves into a corner... and what happens is they die off. Sometimes species just need to die... it is there time. Not to say that man is not at fault... we are only speeding up the process and interrupting the natural order by rushing many species into what is called an extinction vortex.

The vortex is a point in which certain factors lead to the species reaching a breaking point in which the numbers become so low it cannot recover and the downward spiral begins and there is nothing that can be done but watch as the last of their kind vanish.

Interesting facts about Polar Bears... many people believe most polar bears are being lost due to global warming. Where as more are lost due to hunting. Roughly 10 will be lost to global warming and melting glaciers... where nearly 50 will be lost due to hunting. So which would be more effective in saving the species... spending billions on global warming research or swiftly changing the hunting laws?

Whatever you pick make sure you do your research. An essay with emotion will get attention. But an essay backed with good evidence and sound science will truely break your heart.

The skinning of animals for coats. Each species has a purpose and if they are killed just for human pleasures what are we taking away from the enviornment that these animals we created to do .

As the waters rise throughout the world, people huddle in their homes waiting in anticipation, wondering what is going to happen.  Some of their neighbors are packing everything in rental trucks to flee to higher land.  The weather bureau is predicting an out of season killer hurricane.  Why is all this happening?
