I didn't pay attention to it until I got home and thought about it. I buzzed the alarm on my way out and offered to show someone my receipt to prove I didn't steal anything but I was just waved thru and didn't think anything about it. What would they do with it and if anything what should I do?

  1. dont worry they can not legally do anything now. you left the store and they didnt stop you

  2. Heh just prepare one big and honest laugh. Of course, keep your receipt and do not worry much.

As I said just laugh, humor is good and actually your problem is not in possible problems that started from strange circumstances. It's your karma. You attracted problem because you are not calm, you luck self confidence, you are frighten of everything and your appearance awakes alarm in other people (so they even write your plate).

As a solution you have to work on yourself. Read more, communicate with people, go outside, play social games, sport etc. You have to start to trust in yourself, your capabilities and love other people. Simply do not be lonely wolf.

  3. just keep your receipt. if they try calling you or anything like that you have a dated receipt to prove it.

  4. Hire a martial artist and hone some fighting skills before your sent to prison.

  5. kep your receipt, there is notinng they can do as long as you have proof of receipt. In fact i think once your out of the store premises there is nothing they can do, it would be hard to prove you did not pay for it even if you did steal it. Don't worry about it,

  6. Keep your receipt  but dont worry about it unless it was a huge item that you acutally stole.  If you're innocent, you're innocent.  No need to worry.  right?

  7. nothing.

  8. Forget about it. If they let you go, then they won't call the cops. If they were going to call the cops then they wouldn't have let you out.

  9. You don't have to do anything if you are innocent. If,and when you are contacted, just tell the truth.

  10. don't worry. There's actually not much they can do at this point. You don't know how many times I didn't steal, yet the alarm went off. If they didn't stop you on the spot, there's NOTHING they can do, even if they did write your license plate down. A police officer would only react and go to your house if they go to the precinct with taped evidence showing you stole something (but even with that, the store oftentimes doesn't pursue it because it's such a headache)

Relax and don't lose sleep. You'll be fine

  11. u prolly did

  12. slap them

  13. If you didn't steal anything you shouldn't worry about it.  The store cameras probably show that you paid for the item.  Save your receipt if you like, but they would need a lot more to show that you stole something.

  14. Actually there is nothing that they can do unless they were trying to apprehend you in some sort and you took off running. Other than that it probably will not go any further.

  15. Well, if you didn't steal anything, then you have nothing to worry about  =0)

  16. Don't worry about it.  They have to catch you in the act.

  17. They can't do anything to you. More than likely they won't even report it to the police. It's usually not worth the hassle for the store.

  18. save the receipt

  19. You don't have to do anything. They can't do anything and they won't. They would have to prove you stole something and if you didn't then they can't. Plus the cost of falsly inprisoning someone is always on their minds so they will only arrest someone if they actually see them take the item and are sure they still have it when they leave the store.

  20. Chill. Unless they got you on videotape stealing, it's too late to do anything about it.

  21. Haha, forget about it. Once you've left the premises, there's no way you would get convicted of shoplifting, even if you were guilty.

  22. Don't worry about it.  They wrote down your license number so that if it happens again they will have proof of a prior occurrence.  If you are innocent, don't worry about it.  I would save the receipt just in case, but you probably will not need it.

  23. If they thought you were stealing, they would have approached you and said something like " would you like me to ring that up for you" or "Would you like to pay for that now" etc.. I don't think they wrote your plates down. If they did, there is no basis to accuse you of anything after letting you leave the store and get home.  Your ok.

  24. Don't worry about, they have to catch you in the act. keep the receipt just in case.

  25. I would wait and see if the cops contact you and if they do, tell them the exact situation. If you know the truth just explain it. It's the best thing you can do rather than lying and getting in deep trouble from the cops !!
