  2. A constitutional monarchy is the sign of a balanced and functioning democracy. You'll note that the Queen didn't have to steal Florida in order to become head of state.

  3. No.  The royal family do a good job and I have no wish to see them go.  An elected head of state would not be any cheaper, and would be agreat deal more bother, since we would have to have yet more tiresome elections.

    Even wife's & husbands with "bad" mates, still stay

    married now don't they?  Sometimes in this world

    reason or logic if you want, is pushed aside in favor

    of emtions like love, adoration, admiration, and just

    wanting to be "part of something bigger" I suppose.

    The Royal family creates unity for God, Country, & Queen.
