An extremely odd feeling in my neck..?

Hi guys, for the past 2 days or so I've been getting a really odd feeling in my neck, it feels almost as if my neck is too weak to support my head, it's not painful but it's EXTREMELY uncomfortable and I get no relief from lying down or taking any type of pain relief tablets, my jaw is also aching.. so whenever I chew my food everything seems in slow motion because im aaching so much.

This is just a shot in the dark but maybe you have the start of TMJ. Tamporomandibular joint. most people who have this do not know. it effects the jaw muscles. i have this and i also, every now and then, have the same feeling in my neck. i think it is related though my dentist won't say for certain. i have a friend who also has tmj and he says he gets the same feeling. also, i feel the same way when i chew but i often have pain as well. the jaw muscle gets so tight at times that it feels like it takes forever to chew. or maybe you just popped a little something in your neck and it'll feel odd for a few days and suddenly get better. though, if your symptoms continue i would either go see your general dr. or your dentist. hope this helps a little bit at least. take care
