Did standing up daily and reciting the Pledge of Allegiance make you any more Patriotic?

ya i think so. cuz every time i stood up and said it i thought of troops in iraq or ppl in our country making a differnece. but i also thought of ppl i have lost in my family. so it does make me think.

Not really. Just seemed more like an obligation, not really expressing my love for the country every morning.

nope, I actually wrote a column for my school newspaper about the uselessness of the pledge of allegiance and got tons of complaints. it was pretty great, but it's my column so it's my opinion.
