  1. I heard about that too, but they didn't give me enough information. The first person has it right though. If he was born on American soil he is an American.

Now if he wasn't born in America he should have gotten his citizenship at some point in time before the olympics. If he didn't than no he shouldn't be eligible to accept that gold on behalf of the U.S.

  2. If he was born on US soil, he is considered American by birth.

  3. If he was born in America. He's Mexican-American.

  4. His parents were illegals.  If born in the USA, you are American. Family heritage does not matter.

  5. my firend was born in france which makes him french... but he is also american... and nastia luikin was born in russia but raised here and she isnt an illegal alien

  6. For America.  According to the article, he was born in Los Angeles.  Even if his parents are illegal aliens, he would be considered an American citizen because he was born here.  It's part of the US constitution that anyone born on American soil is a citizen.  I'm not sure if he is also a dual citizen.  But if he is a dual citizen, it would be his choice who to compete for, and if he had to make that choice, it appears he chose America.

  7. If he was born on American soil he is American then. DUH!

  8. He was born on U.S. soil, of Mexican ancestry, so he's probably Chicano.  Or Mexican-American for the politically correct.

  9. The USA saw him be born. If it wasn't for the USA he probably wouldn't be in the olympics.

  10. MAYBE HE GOT CITIZEN SHIP?
