An inevitable demise of planet earth and society? Opinion?

I recently read a study that claimed that society and planet earth are heading in a downward direction due to the amount of less intelligent people having s*x and reproducing as opposed to intelligent people who could produce smart children. What is your opinion on this? Do you agree or disagree.. why or why not?

Right now I'd say it's a 3 way tie for the death punch - human stupidity, normal earth cycle changes, random interstellar event

lol, sounds like a movie.

They might reproduce more frequently, but they also die more frequently from poor health choices and stupid mistakes. "Hey lets get drunk and jump our 4-wheelers!"

I don't understand how a study could be done on this btw...

It's not a very reliable study I can guarantee that. That cannot be proven. Intelligence is not always inherited.
