An instrument to calculate the air flow rate of the compressor...10 points?

Question

I would like to fit an instrument at each compressor in the factory iam working in to calculate the flow rate of air, this will give indication if any compressor is failed to deliver the optimum flow rate required in each unit in the factory.

There is off-the-shelf instrumentation to handle this task for you. They are known as flowmeters and several different types exist. There are flowmeters with adjustable setpoints and alarms that can set off an audible or visual signal should the flowrate go below that setpoint or cease entirely as in a failed compressor.
