I was as asked about what I was expecting for salary, I had printed a goggle search service report and reference this when I asked. I pointed out the high end and the low end. It was a small firm and the owner asked if he could keep it. I said yes I could always print out a new one but thought the request unusual. So here is the question why did he ask for this? Should I have given the printout to him? Then he asked if offered a job would I take it and I said yes, Should I have done this Why or Why not?

  1. Yes, you've done everything right. Probably he himself hadn't seen that you could get details of salaries online like that, so he just wanted to look for himself.

And yes, you should always answer that you would take the job if offered, it makes you seem more keen!
