An old kids tv show?

Question

I remember this was set in a toy shop and there would be a couple of kids who always hung out there and this little boy would always be playing with a figurine and there would be a story that went along with it. the toys were alive in a different world and they would talk and move and everything except that they'd be made of clay.. or maybe they were cartoons i can't remember.

HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED...

i think this came on pbs.
