An older film, probably from the 70-80's?

Question

Alrighty, this is all I remember: A samurai that gets shot by an arrow and falls off a cliff. He either gets frozen or becomes a ghost and ends up in modern (at that time) days. He ends up fighting a Helicopter... that's all I can remember.

Any clues? Thanks!

There was a great old movie called The Iceman but he wasn't a samurai though. He did have an arrow or something I think while hunting a big bird I think when there was an avalanche or what do you call it when the earth froze?  And then centuries later they find his body frozen and thaw him and kept him in this enclosed environment for study and he does fight a helicopter, I'm pretty sure.  Haha I loved that movie.
