An1 have any good lacrosse tips?

im 13 and im just starting lacrosse.. does an1 have any good tips they can give on choosing equipment? (stick is a huge 1) any other tips are apretiated thanks :]

so if ur stick is huge u prob defence  warrior is the best equipment out there

ya if ur defense you dont have to stress abou huge armpads and all thst since you will be dealing most of the checks and whatnot, middie get pads that have an even compromise of lightness, comfort, and stability cuz u gotta run, fast... deal checks as well as be able to receive em and keep on going. trust me on this now as much as a pain in the *** as this is i've been playing for years and never got much playing time, but heres how you get lots of pt. practice cradling, catching, throwing, dodging with both hands, you'll be the only person on ur team who can and youll get plenty of pt. if you catch 100 times with ur dominant hand to 50 with ur off, dude its a pain in the ***... trust me ull benefit greatfully from this, its a great sport, have fun with it
