a. Name the independent and dependent variables in the graph.

b. Name the type of relationship between the variables.

c. Find the speed of the body.

  2. Well, it depends on what the x and the y stand for. If you want to find the speed of the body, then i would say x stands for time and y for distance in which case x would be the independent variable and y the dependent. The relationship between them will depend on the data. I would say it's lineal and the speed would be the slope. In this case, the graph is a little weird so it has various slopes, but if you want to get an approximation just   divide the change of y by the change of x. Now if the graph is of acceleration versus time, then you need to get the area under it in order to get the speed, you can do it by getting the area of a triangle.
