  1. Ksenia....I've seen plenty of Anastasias, but never a Ksenia.  It's a very pretty name, and very uncommon (at least here in the States).

  2. Most definitely Anastasia! It's adorable, plus Ksenia reminds me of Casino.

  3. Definately Anastasia. I find it to be a beautiful name, but chose to use Alexandra instead, giving up my chance to use Anastasia. But I prefer the pronunciation Anna-stah-shya.

  4. Anastasia is very cute.

  5. I like Anastasia because it is very feminine and strong for a girl.

Example: Anastasia 'Nastia' Liukin (very, very, very strong girl. she won a gold medal at the beijing olympics in gymnastics)

  6. Both very beautiful. If she is living in Russia then Ksenia (yes, it is pronounced that way) but in the US too many people have trouble with it so here Anastasia.

  7. I absolutely love Anastasia, and she can always shorten it to Ana or Anna

  8. Definitely Anastasia.

  9. I think that the name Anastasia is beautiful.

  10. Anastasia is beautiful!!! I love it! Ksenia is nice too, but if Anastasia travels to other places, people will be able to pronounce easier than if it were Ksenia.

    Congrats to your friend!

  11. i love Anastasia

  12. For sure Anatasia

  13. Anastasia (:

  14. I love both, really.

    Anastasia (Stacy?) is really cute.

and I the diminutive, Nastia, is really cute too.

and I thought Ksenia was pronounced more like zen-yah.

    But it's cute, nonetheless.

  15. Anastasia is a beautiful name. By the way, I think it's spelled Xenia but pronounced K(a)hsehnia and it's a Greek name (as is Anastasia - I think).

  16. Both are Greek names, Anastasia means "one who is born again" and Xenia means "the foreign one". I like both. If I chose based on meaning, it would be Anastasia and if based on sound it would be Xenia... I prefer the Russian pronunciation for Anastasia, Xenia sounds good in both Russian and English.

  17. Actually the real Russian way, the k is silent so it would be SEN-E-AH.

    I love the name Ksenia!
