why is the velocity of a nervous reaction faster in a man and slower in a woman? what diseases or disorders can make these reactions slower?

I can't answer your first question and can only speculate it has to do with metabolism but you might want to read up on the condition that Daniel Radcliffe has(he plays harry potter) he has a neurological condition that affects coordination. I can't remember what its called but it might be related to the info you are seeking. News articles were floating around yahoo.
