The Italian tactician has stated that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mamadou-Sakho-c23293, is in no position to ask to leave, and has insisted that the 22-year-old would be staying at Parc des Princes
There have been increasing rumours stating that the Paris Saint-Germain centre-back, Mamadou Sakho, wants to leave the Paris-based club following his lack of involvement in the first team. However, Les Parisiens’ coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has ruled out such
speculations regarding the player’s future, insisting that the player would be staying at the Parc des Princes till his contract binds him so.
The France international hasn’t been in the starting XI following his suspension in the game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Montpellier-HSC-c39945. The main reason for that is the formation of a solid partnership between former Chelsea centre-back, Alex and Paris Saint-Germain captain,
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-Silva-c34903. The defender is reportedly unhappy due to lack of playtime, and it’s speculated that the Frenchman is seeking to move elsewhere.
The coach however, insisted that the PSG youth academy product is going nowhere, and will stay at Parc des Princes. The Italian deems that the player is an essential component of the squad, and he has no intention of letting the Frenchman go. He explained:
“Sakho is not in a position to ask to leave. He's staying here, because he's an important player for us. He doesn't 100% understand the coach's decisions, but that's normal.”
The former Chelsea manager seems quite content with the defender, and is happy with his current performance. However, the coach believes that the youngster needs to understand his decisions, which are for the greater good of the team. Ancelotti praised the
six feet long centre-back saying:
“The most important thing is that Sakho trains well and is in good shape. He's made great strides forward compared to last season. He's back in the France team and has played a lot of matches, that's what you have to bear in mind.”
The Frenchman also started from the bench in the fixture against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valenciennes-FC-c40865 on Tuesday, still missing out on his former starting spot. The Alex-Silva duo seems to work well for Les Parisiens and chances of Sakho’s inclusion in the starting line-up fade
more and more, with every success the Paris-based club achieves with their current starting line-up.
