The Paris Saint-Germain coach has said that he is not worried about the team’s dependency on the Swedish striker who has already bagged nine goals in the league
While talking to L’Equipe, Paris Saint-Germain coach, Carlo Ancelotti has said that the team’s new-found habit of relying too much on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029 is no reason to worry because the 31-year-old is a great leader who does not need to be given exact instructions
as to how to play his game.
“Being dependent on Ibrahimovic is a good thing. It is normal that his partners have great confidence in him. He is a leader who has the character to score and make others play.”
Indeed, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the man who can do everything for the club these days. Just one look at the Swede’s statistics says it all. The former AC Milan striker has been involved in 64% of the capital club’s goals, has taken 34% shots, 36% of which
have been on target and has even created 17% opportunities.
The Swedish giant makes it rain for the team and what’s surprising to see is that he has never seen such high statistics during his time at AC Milan so early in a campaign. Although he has just arrived, Ibra has already become the main man of the team.
However, many people are sceptical about over-reliance on the player. It is only natural that a time will come when the former Ajax man will burn out which could be a huge blow for Ancelotti’s plans for this campaign.
Despite this, fellow summer signing, Marco Verratti is also not worried about this habit as he feels that his teammate has been given a gift to win games on his own.
“There is dependence on Ibra in our team shape. You must realise, that he is a player who can make us win games alone. When Ibra wins, media tends to him. Because we know that in such instances, players like Menez, Pastore and Lavezzi can take depth. Ibra
even has the technical quality to find a precise pass.”
Scorer, passer and even defender, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has become the housekeeper of Parc des Princes but hopefully, the team will have enough juice to evolve when their star man is not available.
