Emigrated to the UK in 1870s or so and married Margaret Holdsworth. He returned to Germany sometime after 1901. See Holdsworth Tree on Ancesters please. What happened to Hermann? Any of his family in Germany still alive? He died in Munich.

Many Thanks for any leads or family contacts.

Regards

Adrian

  1. If you're on Ancestry already, perhaps you have seen that he lived in Germany as early as 1907 (based on the "Stadt Freiburg im Breisgau : Adressbuch für das Jahr 1907" database).

His residence was Freiburg Im Breisgau, Baden-Württemberg, Deutschland (Germany) in the year 1907.

I found several entries when I Googled "eisenmann, hermann" and the word "munchen" (munich).  Most of those sites are in German, you might try doing that if you haven't already...
