Ancestry lookup Help?

Does anyone have a membership to Ancestry.co.uk or similar and can do a search for me?

I'm looking for the GRO reference for the marriage of Paul Brun to Bernardita Sagayno in April 1985.

  1. I have the GRO numbers for the above peoples marriage, but because it was only in 1985 I would prefer to email you the information as there is a good chance that these two people are alive and well. It would be unethical to post such information on a live Internet forum.

You would need to go into your profile and change the setting to allow other yahoo users to email you, or you could email me and I will send the details by return email.

    Hope this helps.

  2. Some body always has to F**K up don't they.

  3. 1985? This is the genealogy section; try the records office/section.

  4. Not from the UK, so I don't know quite how it works there, but in the States you can just check court records.  Marriage, death, birth, and the like are all a matter of public record.  If you know where they got married, that town would have the record of it.

Also, do a search for sites that don't require membership.  There are some that have message boards that you just post to within a family name.  There's http://www.genealogy.com here.  I would think there would be something similar for the UK.  I found this: http://www.ukgenealogy.co.uk/england.htm...  Don't know how useful it is though.
