How was Milichus the freedman rewarded after he informed the Guard of the Pisonian plot? I know that he was "rewarded liberally" according to Tacitus, but how exactly? Also why do you think that Antonius Natalis was pardoned when he was one of the most involved in the plot?

I can't seem to find much relevant information on this subject outside of Tacitus' "Annals".

  1. Milichus was granted many gifts and the title of savior or preserver.  (Martial's Epigrams)

Antonuis Natalis's story contradicted Scævinus's.  He was pardoned because he confessed and named Piso and Seneca.  His confession caused Scævinus to confess also.
