  1. Most of the people so far have given answers that have been misleading - things like america invented cars - actually Europeans did that - Ford just popularized the assembly line that made automobiles affordable... anyway...

Africa - Cartheginian and Egyptian architecture, and art influence parts of today's society - The Washington Monument is a prime example of spread...

Asia - Black powder completely changed the way humans looked at not only warfare, but celebration as well - fireworks and guns... that's just a start.

Europe - take a look around you - most of today's mainstream culture is a product of Europe... fashion, construction, art, religion, all kinds of things.

Australia - I would say the Australian influence would be something along the lines of introduction of new musical instruments, if nothing else...

North America - the Caucus system that the American government uses is based on a governmental system that the Algonquins used.  Something else I know that the Americans used that was unknown to Europeans was farming with a system called the 3 sisters - usually corn beans and squash - they supported each other and kept the soil rich by not depleating it.

South America had many things that the Spaniards and Dutch adopted when they invaded.  Off hand I cannot say anything in Particular, but I have no doubt that they had many different inventions - Someone mentioned the Calander, yes they had a calander, but we currently use the Gregorian Calander made by Pope Gregory XIII.
