And here I thought it was supposed to rain and cool down...?

It's 6am and 29 degress outside (84 fahrenheit). It is supposed to go up to 36 here (96 fahrenheit) by 10am.

With a 15 month old and almost halfway through my pregnancy, I don't think I can take this humidity. Any suggestions?

Both myself and my daughter stripped to our undergarments with two fans on us, and we're still dying.

  1. good lord, i don't miss that. lol. i know its hot out, but i used to put on a sprinkler when 9 months prego in june, in ny. i'd sit in a nice shaded spot and let the sprinkler just, well, sprinkle! if there was a breeze, it was very nice. and since you have a little one already, she will have fun playing in the sprinkler........good luck luv.

  2. Try spraying yourself with a water bottle, then stand in front of the fan.  It will help.  Also, you can try a damp towel and a fan for naptime.  Don't feel bad.  It's monsoon season here in AZ, which basically just means it's humid, and the temp is reaching 100-114.  And noone here really has an air conditioner, because it's usually dry and swamp coolers work fine, and run cheaper.  Work fine until it gets humid that is, then they just blow hot air.  And I was 8 1/2 months pregnant this time last year.  Imagine how much worse it could be.  Anyhow, the spray bottle helped me, I pretty much stayed wet all summer.  LOL
