Thunder Rumbles

Thunder rumbling right now

Monday morning melody.

I like the far off rumbles best

the mute button working.

My dog yelps as a big boomer calls

the house seems to shudder

must be waking up

shaking cobwebs from the rafters.

And now the rains arrives, sideways

guess it’s in a hurry to get somewhere.

More rumbling now, louder sounds

and from different directions, all so very odd.

I hear a far larger sound now, steady too

should check it out but must finish this

It’s really loud now, sirens wailing

And just as I was saying Goo d mo rn………
