Amuse the Muse or the Muse Amuses?
Muse, Muse where forth art thou O Muse
Why has thee forsaken me, at my hour of need?
Do not my offerings suffice and entice?
Or has thou indeed spurned me evermore?
Give me but a hint, a sign that you care or see
this lonely suffering soul, kneeling here before thee.
Lead me oh lead me again to your wondrous land,
to your land of milk and honeyed words a flowing!
Name your price. Whatever the sacrifice I will give!
For without you Muse, these words do not live.
P.S.
(Sacrifice yes, but as I told you before, you cannot have my soul!)
