  1. This retired miliary family is voting for Obama too.

No more wars based on lies !

  2. I would rather explain a soldiers death fighting against terrorism and fighting for freedom, then explain a family's death from another 9/11 terrorist attack.

  3. How about you do not speak for militray families unless you are one. You in no way know how I feel when my husband leaves to fight for this country, so you and your children do not have to.

  4. are you one of those half witted Obama supporters that still thinks he will end the war right away?

He has already stated they will be redeployed to Afganistan so he is not bringing them home, actually he will be putting them in a place where the violence is much worse resulting in higher death rates than we see now.

But to answer the question I would tell them

" Sorry for your loss, Your son/daughter is a hero to this nation. You should be proud"

  5. I would say thank you for their sacrifice and share  in their grief. Being a free country , our fellow American soldiers enrolled  voluntarily for whatever reason, nobody made them go and anyone who signed up for the US army etc just  for the GI bill and says they never thought that they could go to war was a tad naive.

In response to your last comment about them not wanting to be there, Who in their right mind wants to be there when they could be home with their feet up watching a game  or leading a normal safe life. Many re enlist to go back ,. Thank god for the many that do go to make our lives safer during any war in our history.

  6. I will thank them for their sacrifices for our country, as should you.

You koolaide drinkers really should get a handle on word affairs. If you think that Muslim extremism and the continued unrest in the Middle East does not affect us here in the U.S., just open up a history book and read about what happened on 9/11 and who the perpetrators were. Pick up a news paper and read about Iran inching near nuclear weaponry with a vow to destroy Israel and the U.S. Sticking our heads in the sand will not make these issues go away. We must maintain a presence in the region just as we did Japan and Germany after WWII. The protection of American values and our way of life will cost money and lives. It always has and it always will.

  7. Most of the military supports John Mc Cain and most of there parents are on-board.  There is already a plan under way to get out of Iraq in less than two years, but as long as there are terrorist in the world the war will never be over in our life-time.

    John McCain/War hero

    Sahah Pallin/All American in 08

  8. My best friend in the entire world lost her husband to this war.  She is voting McCain.

My neighbor lost her son to this war, she is voting McCain.

I have lost several friends to this war, I am voting McCain. Right now I have two nephews 'over there', my husband was 'over there'

I think I have a bit more insight than you.

  9. No more war, that is what I want to say
