  1. he would be disowned and would not become the king of england.

of course before he got married he would be put under tremendous pressure to leave the girl and would have to make a desicion if she really was worth giving his whole family and future up for

  2. If Prince William decides to choose a Muslim bride, and she refuses to renounce her faith and become a member of The Church of England, Prince William will loose his rights and claim to the British throne.

Under the current British succession law, The Act of Settlement of 1707, strictly prohibits Catholics and royal members with a Catholic spouse from inheriting the British crown. However, although the Act did not specify or discriminate any other religions, it did indicate that "The monarch must be a Protestant at time of accession, and enter into communion with the Church of England after accession."

Note: Prince William will probably be heavily discouraged to marry outside his faith. He is heir and next in line to the British throne after his father, Prince Charles, and as with royal traditions, a royal member can only married after receiving a "blessing" from the monarch. Therefore, if the monarch refuses to bless this union, Prince William cannot marry his Muslim bride.

  3. No chance ...they got their knickers in enough of a twist when the EX-Princess of Wales was going out with a Muslim..which we all know ended tragically..

Wouldn't be to surprised if he got serious with a Muslim if the same happened again...

  4. If the wife was not Church of England,he'd lose his place in line of succession. If William were not Church of England,he'd lose his place in line of succession. The monarch is head of the Church of England in the UK and must be of that denomination.

  5. he wouldn't, he is past the age of adolescent rebellion.

Seriously - although he may meet a few daughters of sheikhs etc at the races, he is now 26 years old approx, and an unmarried Moslem girl would be far too young for him.

Plus which he's made his choice, he is just downplaying it a bit so the poor girl can have a decent life until she gets enrolled in his family business.

  6. Nothing no media outlet from any authorative state can't handle. The prince is safe.

  7. Then he'd get killed like his mother did

  8. If Prince William decided to marry a Muslim girl, then no problem.  However, she could not become a consort/Queen, and would probably be relegated to "Princess . . . " or "Duchess . . ."

The Act of Succession specifically forbids a member of the royal family from marrying a Catholic IF they want to stay in the line of succession.  It says nothing about any other religion. Several royals have opted out of line, to marry Catholics -- let's face it, if you're more than a couple of places down the line, you're pretty safe : - )

William COULD marry a Muslim, but remain a communicant  of the Church of England.  However, the likelihood of him marrying a Muslim is pretty slim, don't you think?  The Queen would probably give her blessing, if she was convinced that the relationship was one that would withstand the pressures of kingship, and as long as the girl agreed that the children be raised in the Church of England.  Why not?

However, if he becomes Muslim -- all bets are off. If he's not going to be Defender of the Faith for the Church of England, then he has no business being king.

  9. He will be outcast from royal family.

  10. If he want marry to Muslim girl, he must looking for Mariam, Bahrain's princess. But she divorced, I forgot.

He don't do it! Muslim's girl will separated with her family after this! Muslim's man can marry to Christian's girl easier!

  11. I doubt if that would be permitted.

Too much confusion for the royal family to deal with, as he will be King one day.

  12. He would not be able to succeed to the British Throne.  In order to become King, under present constitutional law, He must be a communicating member of the Church Of England.

  13. Well it would never happen and last time I checked people bend over backwards to marry into royalty.  And that begs the question, why would his wife not convert instead of him?

  14. Then he would have to give everything up for love and become a muslim his family would kick him out...

    x*x

  15. for a start he wouldnt be allowed, he would have to abdicate if he would want to which i cant imagin why he would.

second, he wouldnt because the royal family are christian (or relvolve around it) so he woudlnt believe in terrorism.

  16. ha!that would never ever happen

  17. Princess Diana already tried that and look what they(they meaning the Royal Family ) did to her.
