Barcelona are currently considered to be one of the best teams in the world of football. The Catalan giants managed to win six trophies in the first season, under Josep Guardiola.
The Spanish coach helped Barcelona win a lot of silverware recently, and with the brilliant stars in possession of Josep Guardiola, La Blaugrana became one of the best teams in the history of the game.
Many star players want to join the Catalan giants, and the Anderlecht golden-boy, Charly Musonda Jr., has recently revealed that he also wants to become a part of the Catalan team which is on the road to making history.
Since Barcelona are famous for making players rather than buying them, the 15-year-old would be a hot prospect for Barcelona, as he has the talent which the Spanish champions can polish, to make him a star player in the future.
Charly is the son of former Anderlecht midfield maestro, Charly Musonda Sr., and the youngster wants to play for the European champions, so he can become a better player than his father.
The Anderlecht youngster is one of the hottest properties in football and many major European clubs want to sign him.
“Manchester City, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Barcelona-c39078 have offered exorbitant amounts of money to get him”, Charly Musonda Sr told Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad.
“One scout has told Charly that there would definitely be room for him at Real Madrid.”
After knowing about the interested clubs around the world, Charly spoke about his desire and how he wants to join Barcelona in the future.
“My father gets calls from the top clubs every week”, Musonda Jr said. “Last year he even had to change his phone number.”
“Barcelona have called me and they are my favourite team. I watch them every week.”
The Zambian star is currently in the youth setup of Anderlecht, alongside his brothers Lamisha and Tika, with the eldest brother, Lamisha Musonda, on the brink of joining the senior side. With Lamisha waiting for a call from the senior team, the other two
youngsters can follow in his footsteps as well.
