Manchester Untied keeper Anders Lindegaard believes http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 De Gea could be one of the best goal keepers in the world, but feels that it is his duty to keep the youngster on the sidelines.
Lindegaard has admitted that the Spanish youngster could easily go on and become one of the best goal keepers to have played for Manchester United, but still feels that he is going to do his best from keeping him from making the starting eleven.
De Gea, unlike Lindegaard has been unusually inconsistent in a United jersey. The keeper seems to have problems dealing with long shots and his immaturity often drips into his performances.
On the other hand, Lindegaard has been quite solid in front of goal for United and has managed to make a number of brilliant saves this term.
When talking about his team mate, Lindegaard is quoted to have said: "David has extraordinary attributes, he is extremely explosive and powerful"

"He is only 21, but his potential is massive and there is no doubt he will be United’s best goalkeeper at some point. My http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 is to make sure it is not until I have retired, which is about 10 years away!”

"Of course, everyone wants to play as much as possible and I'm no different, so I don't need a definition of my position [as first-choice]."
Despite admitting to there being a healthy rivalry between the two, Lindegaard has also revealed that the two often help each other out. The two keepers discuss on how they would react in different situations and occasionally teach each other a trick or
two.
When http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson went on to sign De Gea, most people believed that it was a poor decision on the manager’s behalf.
However, with the two keepers at the club now looking to compete with each other on a regular basis and improving their performances as a result, most of those critics have finally understood just what the manager was trying to do.
All in all, it is safe to say that United won’t have to invest in another keeper for a long time to come.
