Anderson Happy on his extension in the club
With almost 3 weeks left for the January transfers window to open for all the managers to bet, Manchester United’s manager Sir Alex Ferguson is happy to have Anderson Luis de Abreu Oliveira in his team for the coming years. It
has now been confirmed that the No. 8 player in Red Devils Team has signed a four-and-a-half year extension to his present club which will allow him to show his talent till year 2015.
The Brazilian midfielder is a fantastic player and has played a vital role against Manchester United's clash against their rivals on various occasion at different platforms. Anderson is in extremely good form and at the age of
22, can be a key pawn in the manager’s strategy on the field.
Sir Alex Ferguson said: “We are delighted Anderson has signed a new contract. Anderson has developed tremendously since joining the Club and he has fantastic potential at only 22 years of age, he is going to be a really top player.”
Anderson joined the club in summer 2007 and had his debut against FC Porto at Old Trafford. Although, during his 110 appearances for the club, Anderson has scored only twice but he is definitely a key player for the Manchester
United starting eleven. His ability to defend and maneuvers the ball has earned his utmost respect and recognition throughout his tenure in Red Devils.
His career at Manchester United has been a roller coaster ride. With injuries at the start of his career in United team, many speculations arouse about his place in the team, but with rock solid will and hard work, Anderson pulled
down every finger aimed at him and despite his injury during 2007-08, he was considered to be the finest talent in United squad which earned him his place as a permanent midfielder.
