Anderson Silva says no Brazilian capable to take on Jon Jones – UFC news
The Brazilians do reign the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) but unfortunately there is no Brazilian who can beat Jon Jones, the current light heavyweight American.
These comments were put forth by Anderson Silva, the Brazilian hotshot and the current middleweight title owner.
The Ultimate Fighting Championships heavyweight, middleweight, and featherweight categories are being ruled by three Brazilians who are the masters of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu namely Junior dos Santos, Anderson Silva, and Jose Aldo.
According to the recent news Anderson Silva proudly commented on how the Brazilian brawlers are ruling the UFC in different divisions and how they impact the roster of UFC by their talented fights, emphatic, sharp and targeted punches, and above all by their
ultimate, perfectly executed, and unforgiving submission manoeuvres and tactics.
Anderson while expressing his thoughts uttered a name that he considers is the one who is authoritatively blocking the way of Brazilians in light heavyweight division. That name was Jon Jones, the American who hails from New York. Silva, the current middleweight
title holders said that Jones has sealed his place in light heavyweight category.
Silva added that Jones is a true champion and he is holding the light heavyweight title genuinely. Anderson was of the view that none of his Brazilian compatriots are able enough to take on Jon Jones. He admitted that Brazil hailing men have created havoc
in UFC like Erick Silva who is rattling the welterweight division and is emerging as a tough contender for the current welterweight title holder George St. Pierre.
Anderson Silva, who is nicknamed as the Spider told the news agency in his interview that out of seven divisions three are being ruled by Brazilians so he believes that in the near future with brawlers like Eric Silva, Edson Barboza and Renan Barao creating
a chaos in their divisions, UFC might see all title holders, Brazilian. Along with this prediction, he mentioned that it is not possible with Jon Jones.
Anderson while acclaiming the Americans fighting ability said, “Jon Jones is having a good phase, he's improving a lot. He's getting more and more experienced, he's very young, but he's getting more experienced.”
Silva added, “He's making his opponents fall into his game. He knows how to use his size very well. There's not much to say about Jon Jones.”
Anderson admitted that currently he does not see any Brazilian who has the guts to take on Jon Jones and he is not even saying it happens in near future. Brazil has been producing elegant fighters for the last few years so much so that even UFC president
Dana White denoted Brazil as new Mecca of Martial Arts.
