The Manchester United midfielder has been criticized for being overweight and lacking fitness levels that are needed to perform for the Red Devils but now he has come out and admitted that he will try his best to make his mark
in the next Premier League season which will be crucial for his career at Old Trafford...
The former Porto midfielder came to Manchester United in the summer of 2008 under the title of the new Ronaldinho but http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Anderson-c5565 has thus failed to show any signs that suggest closeness to the likes of potential that Ronaldinho fulfilled
during his time at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604.
The Brazilian international has been plagued with fitness and weight issues which have contributed to his lack of fitness and subsequent injuries whilst playing for the Red Devils. In 2010, Anderson missed six months of league
action due to a ruptured knee ligament and not only that, the party image that the Manchester United playmaker has adopted off the field has also upset a few fans.
Lack of form has been Anderson’s constant excuse but there are still fans in the United camp which are willing to give him a chance to prove himself to the club. With the likes of Powell and Kagawa coming to Old Trafford in the
current summer transfer window, Anderson now has competition for his midfield place and perhaps that is what will rekindle his desire to prove himself in English football.
The former Porto man has accepted that he needs to work harder as he said, "For me, this season is very important. I know I have to be very focused on my football. I'll still have a laugh and a joke with my team-mates, but I know
I must be really focused.”
He added, "I want to show what I can do this season, produce my best and help the team. I need to prove what I can do. I know the boss and my team-mates believe in me, I've just had bad luck. I want to improve as much as I can
and help the team win trophies. I feel good.”
