Anderson sent to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Portugal-c2984 to undergo further inspection on his injured knee at Manchester United – English Premier League
Anderson has been sent to Portugal to see his doctor to gain more knowledge on his knee injury at Manchester United according to Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson’s latest press conference. The Scottish tactician spoke ahead of United’s clash
with Newcastle United and stated that Anderson will be out of action for United at least till the month of February.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Anderson-c5565 has a fantastic start to the Premier League season but his performances started deteriorating of late as United began to rely on him in the central midfield area. One of his poorest performances of the season came against
Manchester City in an encounter that resulted n a 6-1 defeat for Manchester United at Old Trafford.
That defeat also allowed City to open a five point gap between themselves and the Red Devils, a gap that exists as both the teams go into their Premier League commitments for the weekend. United are set to play against Newcastle
United on Saturday whereas City will travel to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 to take on Kenny Dalglish’s Reds.
Anderson will definitely miss the encounter against Newcastle United for Manchester United; therefore Sir Alex will have to resort to using either http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Darren-Fletcher-c10361 in central midfield along with his other options.
United drew their last encounter at Old Trafford against Benfica in the UEFA Champions League therefore Sir Alex will be looking for a positive response from his men.
The veteran manager stated in his recent interview, "Anderson is out until February with a knee injury. He's been sent to Portugal to see a specialist who operated on him before. Not good news. It is easy to say you are going to
buy players but it is not easy to buy them for Manchester United, especially in January. I do not see anyone who could make us a better team. There are two or three players but they are not available, so there is no point even going there."
Sir Alex Ferguson will hope that the rest of his team live up to the home crowd’s expectation and end their run of narrow wins with an emphatic result over Newcastle United who have had a wonderful start to their Premier League
campaign as well.
