  1. I think Roy Jones should take the fight, he'll have no problem winning in a Boxing match.

It would be a great cross promotion and make Boxing look great compared to MMA with the win.

Then Roy REALLY should retire, that would be a nice icing on the cake. I feel that if any MMA fighter took on a Boxing king in Boxing, he'd lose. I feel that if any Boxer took on a MMA king in MMA, he'd lose.

That is like Randy Moss calling out Michael Jordan to a game of Basketball. Two completely different sports. Roy has learned it all of his life, Silva has NOT.

  2. In a boxing match Roy Jones would beat any MMA fighter.

  3. i hope they do fight RJJ is gonna roast his ***. enough said

  4. Champ - he said in a boxing match.

  5. There's no doubt that RJJ has lost a step or maybe even two in the last 5 years, but Roy would embarrass Silva in a boxing match.  This wouldn't be good for MMA or MMA fans that think that MMAers can compete with boxers.  They are two very different sports.  Yes, they both fight in the ring, but it's like apples and oranges.

With all that said.  Silva would completely embarrass Jones in MMA.  But from what Silva is saying, he wants all boxing rules to apply.

  6. There's nothing more I'd like to see than that.  But RJJ has maybe 2 fights left in him and should fight someone like Pavlik or Calzaghe or Taylor.  Maybe Silvia could fight Kelly Pavlik, instead?

I think Silvia should fight against a club fighter before stepping in to the ring with world class opposition.

  7. anderson silva is a beast no doubt. im a huge mma fan, and i believe he is pound for pound the best out there, but im not sure how he would do in a boxing match against roy jones,jr.

  8. silva no doubt. he'd keep roy at bay with his long and lethatl legs until he went down, and in boxing your not used to fighting on the ground...so if roy ever goes down silva is gonna ground and pound

  9. i think jones jrs. got this. im not sure anyone whos boxed a pro boxer or fought one would be able to hurt them, (if not land a good punch)
