The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127 forward is pleased with the way things have been going for him this season and the player has promised to continue working on his game in order to become a better player in the future
The Ghana international has enjoyed a good season so far in the Ligue 1. The player has been ignored by his country for the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, but the forward is taking positives from it.
While talking to reporters at a training ground, the 23-year-old stated that it was sad to know that the coach hasn’t selected him but the player is taking this as an opportunity to improve his game and help his club, Marseille, to stay in the hunt for the
Ligue 1 crown.
Ayew said that things didn’t go as he planned and his start to the season was far from perfect. The Ghanaian added that despite everything, he didn’t lose hope and he knew that he would get back to his personal best soon.
"I had a very difficult start to the season, but I knew that it would come back little by little," said Ayew.
Reflecting on his performances since November, the 23-year-old said that he got back to his best form in the month of November and he has maintained that form ever since. However, the player feels that there is still some room for improvement and he can
do even better.
"Since November, I've been on the same upward trajectory. But I can still do better."
Ayew added that he used to use his arms a lot because of all the dribbling on the pitch. However, the Marseille forward believes that he doesn’t do that anymore and he has adapted to the situation.
"To keep the ball, I used my arms a lot when I was dribbling. When you can't do that, you adapt," he said.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ghana-c2905 international revealed that he has watched his own video in order to learn from them and it has helped him to great extent.
"I've watched myself play a few times. Now, I play more simply, it's helped me improve."
