Andre Dias happy at Lazio and looking for contract extension, insists the agent: Serie A news
The agent of Lazio defender, Andre Dias, has rejected reports linking his client with a move to Brazilian side, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Santos-c40446.
Recent reports in the Italian media have linked the centre-back with a move back to his homeland but the stopper’s defender has claimed that he has heard nothing from any team. Agent, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gilmar-c14910 Rinaldi, insisted that Dias is extremely
happy at Rome and has no intentions of leaving the club.
Rinaldi revealed that his client has two years remaining in his Biancazzurri contract and he is looking for an extension. The 32-year-old has attracted interest from several Italian and Brazilian clubs in the summer too but none
of them came up with a concrete offer.
While talking to the reporters, Rinaldi said, “I don’t know anything about an interest from them for my client. I haven’t heard from them and I will therefore exclude such a move. Andre is happy at Lazio and in Rome. He still
has two years to run on his contract with Lazio and he’s not going anywhere.”
The former Sao Paulo star has been a main stay of the Biancocelesti defence this season and has impressed everyone with his solid displays in the heart of Lazio defence. Manager, Edy Reja, rates the Brazilian highly and it is very
unlikely that he will let him go.
The agent insisted that he will talk to the club after Christmas about a contract extension for his client and is hopeful that the bosses will respond positively. He also added that the defender is happy in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 and there is no
reason for him to leave the Stadio Olimpico Rome.
“I’ll probably be in Rome in December or immediately after Christmas. I’ll speak to the club about it. I can only reaffirm that Dias is content at Lazio and he has no kind of problems in Italy whatsoever.” added the agent
