Andre Johnson or Larry Fitzgerald?

If both players are available who should be drafted first, Andre Johnson or Larry Fitzgerald? Why? Andre is injury prone but has more potential. Larry is more consistent but has to contend with Boldin for catches and TDs.

  1. I would pick Andre Johnson.  He is THE #1 WR in Houston.   Larry Fitzgerald is a great WR but he has to share the ball with Boldin.

  2. Andre Johnson.

  3. I would go with Fitzgerald, now that people have seen what johnson can do, they will double team him, specialy if Matt is healthy, but with Lary, there are no double teams because Boldin is pretty good also.

  4. id say andre. he was hurt for a few games last season, but still had 8 tds i think. i had him on my team last year, and every game he played, he scored. Plus the cardinals have QB problems, and fitzgerald has to contend with boldin another #1 fanstasy wr

  5. Take Johnson because he is the #1 option for Houston this year. While Fitzgerald is a dynamite receiver he is still sharing the rock with Boldin. That means Johnson will be receiving double coverage more too, it is a tough choice. To make it tougher saw on the NFL network that Leinart is looking real good so far.

My final choice would be JOhnson.

  6. Seems you know the answer to the question already.  They are both the same receiver.  I would tend towards LF because of AJ injuries last year.  But at same time I like to rout for AJ.

Bottom line to make decision would be to make this pick not the same bye week as your number one choice.

  7. Johnson, is a potential injury risk but has the potential to be more consistent.  Fitzgerald however hast he potential to be ridiculous, scouts say 1,800 yards 15 tds are not out of the question.  Also Boldin isn't the option that people make him out to be.  He is a solid number 2 reciever, but I would not be concerned about him hurting Fitzgerald's numbers significantly.

  8. I like Fitzgerald. The Titans have been beefing up their running game(White and the emergence of Chris Johnson), but the Cardinals, what offense they've had, is geared toward the air. Given where both receivers are being drafted(most likely your WR#1 pick) it's probably better to look more towards consistency than upside at that point.

  9. You can't decide this one on talent - you could argue for either one...

I agree with the post about rooting for Andre - he's a pretty stand-up NFL player...

This said, Fitz is in a better position - I see Bolden as a Donald Driver type influence - good to have around, but would you really worry about him taking catches from Greg Jennings?

Lastly, I have no idea what this question has to do with the Titans as one post suggests...
