Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has admitted his position at the club was under pressure after the Blues stumbled to a 1-0 defeat to West Bromwich Albion in the English Premier League on Saturday.
Despite the disappointing loss to lowly West Bromwich Albion, which now makes it three wins in their last 12 English Premier League fixtures for Chelsea, Villas-Boas remained confident he was the right man for the post of Chelsea manager.
The London side have slipped to three points behind Arsenal on the Premier League table at fifth place and are now in danger of losing out on the UEFA Champions League spot for next season. Villas-Boas admitted he was now under pressure after another performance
which was less than satisfactory.
Villas-Boas said while speaking to reporters:

he is the right man for the job of the Chelsea manager.
He revealed:
“Am I the right man for the job? Yes. I wouldn't have taken it if I didn't think that.”

Villas-Boas continued:
“We have a defeat which is badly taken because we were very poor on the day. We have to improve. This is bad. This defeat cannot be well taken.
