Andre Villas Boas has come out and demanded that Charlie Adam should apologize to Gareth Bale due to his challenge on the Welsh winger in the latest friendly encounter between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.  Villas Boas’ team

The former Chelsea manager was appointed the Tottenham manager only recently after the dismissal of Harry Redknapp. Redknapp failed to take Tottenham to UEFA Champions League qualification but now Villas Boas is expected to do

The Liverpool midfielder made contact with Bale’s ankle but fortunately the former Southampton player was left unharmed. Villas Boas has not Charlie Adam’s tackle lightly and despite having words with the Scotsman during the halftime

Villas Boas said, “I think it was a very nasty challenge from Charlie. The player had gone and he came in from behind on Gareth's ankle. I did not know the previous history between the two. I do now. It is a difficult one to be

He added, "At half-time Charlie came to me and said something about the challenge. I can accept that but I think he should go to the player to say sorry. If the player escapes hospital it is because he is very lucky.”

adamant on leaving the club.
