Andre Villas Boas has come out and made it clear that Luka Modric will not leave Tottenham if the clubs that are interested in the playmaker do not match Tottenham’s evaluation of their star midfielder. Villas Boas took over at
Tottenham in the English Premier League after Harry Redknapp was dismissed from the club by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-c9879 Levy, the Spur’s chairman.
The former Chelsea man has had a tough time taking charge of the Luka Modric scandal since then as the club’s relationship with the superstar has soured especially in the aftermath of the 2012 European Championships as Real Madrid
have become interested in the Croatian star. Villas Boas has also had to convince the other players at the club that they will see European football at White Hart Lane as Tottenham are determined to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

to match their asking price.
Villas Boa said, "He's been training separately still, it's important for Luka to feel mentally ready to come back to first-team training. It's important because these boys (team-mates) are at a different level in terms of preparation,
concentrating and commitment.”
He added, "The player has to understand that the club can't do anything about other clubs' offers, we have a value and an interest that we have to defend and we are waiting for if the offer is not met to re-integrate the player."
Luka Modric was reprimanded earlier on as he had refused to train at the club in order to force a move to Real Madrid but the club fined the midfielder and now has also enforced separate training for the Croatian footballer.
