Former Porto and Chelsea manager, Andre Villas-Boas has gone on to reveal that he is not considering the possibilities of taking charge of a national team.
The Portuguese manager is currently jobless, following him being dismissed as the manager of Chelsea. As a result, he is open to any offers that are thrown his way, but for the time being it seems like he is more interested in club football.
Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Villas-Boas for a number of weeks now, but so far the talks between the two haven’t really picked up pace.
There are also a number of rumours floating about that the manager could be brought in to look after a national team, given his urge to spend ample time with his squad, before he can really kick things off.
These rumours have been rubbished by Villas-Boas, who has insisted that his prime focus is on managing a team at club level.
"I am more attracted by the work at a club and the daily training sessions," he said in a recent interview.
"It is not part of my ambitions to coach a national team, but it could happen someday.

"With preparation and the right project, something special could be done. But right now, it is not part of my plans for the future."

Despite the offer being a rather decent one, Villas-Boas went on to turn it down, since he insisted that he needed to wait until January before he could manage the team. The club’s hierarchy couldn’t agree with the manager on those terms and as a result, they are now looking elsewhere.
Despite his claims of not wanting to manage a national team, he could end up considering his options, should he be called up to manage the Dutch national team.

Nonetheless, it is now up to the former Porto and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 manager to decide and plan what the next step in his career is going to be.
