The Bianconeri Chief Executive has stressed that the target for his men should be winning the Scudetto and pondering over other minor issues later when they
happen.
Agnelli would be thanking his lucky stars that they made the right decision to hire Antonio Conte as their manager at the start of the campaign. After two below-par seasons,
Juventus needed to be reinvigorated to challenge the top brass. Even though the Juve hierarchy knew that there were no shortcuts in their quest of establishing themselves as European powerhouses, they could be forgiven to think that Conte might have been just
that.
The former AC Siena manager has exceeded everyone’s expectation with the campaign that he is having. In previous seasons, they have been able to muster up seventh placed
finished to the season; they are now in contention of winning the Scudetto by the end of this campaign.  The Lady Killers are two points adrift of AC Milan, and are sitting in the second place of the Serie A standings.
The Old Lady President was holding a press conference to unveil Juve’s sponsorship with Jeep, and he took out time to reflect on the season they are having. He also remarked
that they had achieved this through sheer hard work, even though there were many who suggested there to be far better teams than Juventus at the start of the season. Agnelli commented:
“To be just two points behind Milan, the undisputed
favourites for the title, is something to be proud of. Today, with eight games left, we are playing for an achievable dream in the knowledge that many people thought that there were five teams better than us in August.”
If the Turin giants manage to win the Scudetto this will give them an opportunity to show a third gold star on their shirts. This would make it their 30th league
title in their illustrious history, provided they consider their two titles which were stripped in the Calciopoli incident.

The Turin patron remarked:
“We’ll ponder that problem when we get to it,” Agnelli continued. “There is no need to think about that hypothesis right now.”
Juventus are playing Palermo which will be a tricky tie to deal for the Bianconeri given Palermo’s unpredictability this season.
