Andrea Pirlo making a move to Juventus from AC Milan in summer: Serie A Update
Reports from Italy have confirmed that Juventus FC will sign the AC Milan midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Andrea-Pirlo-c5702 during the summer transfer window. Pirlo’s contract is set to expire this June and an extension is unlikely to happen, thus giving the Old Lady the opportunity
to lure the playmaker to Stadio Olimpico di Torino.
Juve would possibly acquire the sensational playmaker for a 5-million Euro transfer fee. This would mean that the Old Lady would let go of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809. The English outfit have set too high a price tag on Aquilani
and as a result Juventus have been looking for alternatives.
Pirlo had asked for a new contract worth 5-million Euros a season which Milan have refused to offer. The playmaker’s agent, Tullio Tinti, recently inquired if Juventus were willing to pay the asked wages and Juve did seem interested. However, the club would
possibly be willing to pay around the 3.5 million Euros mark, and considering this as possibly the final transfer of the Italian, Pirlo might agree to the offer.
The General Manager of Juve, Beppe Marotta, has been in contact with the Rossoneri and owing much to the healthy relationship between the clubs, the deal is taking good shape. Marotta recently said that Juve are looking forward to sign great players in order
to regain their previous good form. The General Manager also stressed that the club is looking for an overhauling of the players and they will need experienced players, who know how to handle tough situations and can bring their experience into play for the
betterment of the club.
Juve have been lacking quality in their team and have not been as competitive as they were in recent years. The addition of Pirlo would come as a less expensive bargain, giving the Juventus midfield quality and experience. Moreover, Aquilani earns 4-million
Euros a season and would cost more than 15 million Euros to give a permanent contract to, so Pirlo won't be as an expensive buy for the Old Lady.
Juventus are currently at the 7th spot in Serie A and would like to at least finish in the top four of the league. The summer transfer window would be a very important time for the Italian outfit to make the right decisions and choose the right
players.
