The Nerazzurri have been in splendid form away from home, as they have won both the matches away in this campaign of the Serie A. However, this has been disconcerting for the fans, as Inter have only been able to perform away from home and have not transferred
that clinical form to the San Siro.
This has irked many fans and there are questions being raised on the tactics deployed by the head coach of Inter Milan. Stramaccioni went on to state that he always accepts criticism after losses, but he has asked many not to judge the side so soon.
He further remarked that they were trying out various things and different ideas in training and they would take some time before they are fully implemented on the field of play. Siena was lost due to a few lapses in concentration, and such resounding judgements should not be coming out of it.
He pointed out the chances that the Beneamata outfit created against the Robur and mentioned that had they taken them, they would have had a different response altogether. Besides remarking that opinions should not be made out of haste, he went on to state:
“It is right to be criticised after a defeat, but judgements need to be made at the end. There is a time to sow and a time to harvest. Siena didn’t lock us in our own penalty area. We constructed play and, even if I don’t want to make excuses, we created
eight scoring opportunities. Had we taken one of those we might even be seen as a phenomenon today…”
The Beneamata have played in four matches, and so far they have only been able to win two of those matches; amassing six points from a possible 12 points, and they are sitting in the seventh place of the Serie A standings.
