The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan Primavera head coach has gone on to state that he wants his team to stick together in times of hardships and defeats throughout the season.
The Beneamata head coach has had a good start to the Serie A season, and they had two victories out of their first three matches of the Serie A campaign, and it seemed like the team would carry out the same momentum going into the fourth match of the season
against AC Siena.
The Robur have been languishing at the bottom of the table as they were deducted points for their alleged involvement in the Scommessopoli match fixing controversy. So all the indicators were supporting Inter’s case that they would be going on to a smooth
victory against the Robur; and Stramaccioni has tried to appease the fans and players of the club.
He went on to state that his men had performed well during their matches in the Serie A, and he also commented that they had made chances in the opening half, and just need to find the clinical edge to penetrate opposition defence.
He further went on to remark that a defeat should not halt the progress that the team has made and positive assessment needs to be made in the face of defeats. He remarked that the goal by the opposition came from a great and speedy counter attack, and the
credit goes to Siena for taking the victory. The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/U-17-Youth-team-c40787 head coach went on to state:
“It’s an ugly defeat. Now we mustn’t lose faith in the work we are doing, as in the first half we created so many chances and were simply unable to find the goal. A defeat like this must not affect our work. In the second half, a scorching counter-attack
from Siena hit us hard.”
Strama also commented on the need of the fact that they must have a united front in overcoming the disappointment of defeats, and mentioned:
“This is the moment to stick together. I have great faith in the lads and we mustn’t back up even an inch.”
Inter have not won at the San Siro during this season.
