The young head coach of Inter Milan has gone on to bring focus to the match against Sampdoria during the midweek, and stayed away from commenting about Juve faceoff.
A lot of talk and importance is being given by the media to the match between Juventus and Inter Milan, and the tie between the outfits is being adhered as a battle between the two title contenders for the ongoing season. The circumstances surrounding this match are entirely different than the ones that oversaw the two sides last year, when they were on more or less differing spectrums of the Lega.
Whereas Juventus was battling it out for the Scudetto against Inter’s bitter rivals, AC Milan; the Nerazzurri outfit were on a poor run of form and had an extremely poor season, barely managing to qualify for Europe in the process.
How times have changed at the San Siro outfit, and they have been riding high, with fists full of optimism in their play and the mood surrounding the club too. Juventus were always destined to be topping the table and being in the hunt for holding on to their Serie A title, which they won while breaking all kinds of record; nobody could have predicted http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan to be so high up the table.
The Beneamata outfit have won seven of the nine matches that have been played so far in the Serie A; and have great momentum going for them for the Derby d’Italia. Despite the exuberance of the media in touting this as a match between the Scudetto contenders; the jury is still out on the long term ramifications of their current boss, Andrea Stramaccioni.
However, despite his youth and relative inexperience at coaching a top flight club; the young head coach has wooed many with his attacking style of play, and his humility. Carrying on that theme, he went on to throw caution to the wind, and remarked:
“I am good at not thinking about Juve. I am focused only on preparing for the Sampdoria match in minute detail. Besides, one can only talk about the meeting with Juventus being a head-to-head at the top of the table if we beat Sampdoria first.”
However, the Nerazzurri fans and board must be ecstatic with the position they are in after nine weeks of the Serie A.
