The head coach was talking to the press on Wednesday and during his interview he went on to comment on their debut and stated:
“Our debut, for its personality and way of playing, has given us good initial feedback.”
The second leg will be played at the San Siro on the 10th of August, and the tactician urged his men not to commit silly mistakes, and further remarked:
“With my eyes I also saw things going wrong and I am trying to work on them. I defy anyone not to get things wrong on August 10, but for personality and our style, we are there."
Coach Stramaccioni went on to remark that the time had come to right the wrongs, but he stated that for the moment he was not affected a great deal by the results, and remarked:
“Now we must improve the things that went wrong. We are neither elated by the result nor concerned about the mistakes.”
Inter Milan participated in the Trofeo TIM and won the mini-tournament. The result would be a major boost for the Nerazzurri players as they overcame Juventus and AC Milan in the tournament.
