The Nerazzurri general manager compares the new manager to the Real Madrid boss and happy with Massimo Moratti’s decision to hand him the coaching role.
Inter Milan general manager, Ernesto Paolillo, has compared the new Nerazzurri manager, Andrea Stramaccioni, to Real Madrid boss, Jose Mourinho.
Stramaccioni, who was the coach of the Nerazzurri Primavera side, was promoted as the head-coach after Claudio Ranieri was sacked from his duties on Monday, March 26. The 36-year-old will remain as the manager of the club for the
remainder of the season.
The former defender helped the Inter Milan http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/U-17-Youth-team-c40787 to win the youth Champions League after beating Ajax on penalties.
Paolillo has backed Massimo Moratti’s decision of handing the charge to the young tactician, and the general manager is pleased with the work Stramaccioni has done at the club. He believes that the tactician’s influence will help
in developing a lot of stars from within the youth setup of the club.
While talking to the reporters, Stramaccioni said:
“The lad made an excellent impression on us. Last summer we handed him the Primavera and I know him so well that I’m convinced President Massimo Moratti made a great choice. He is powered by great hunger and desire to do well.
I hope many youngsters can move up into the first team, especially as Andrea knows them all well. Talent must be discovered and we have some excellent scouts.”
The Beneamata chief insisted that the young manager reminds him of former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 manager, Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese had a very successful stint as the manager of the club, as he helped them in winning the treble in the 2009/10
season. Paolillo believes that the new manager will settle well with the experienced players at the club.
“In terms of meticulously studying his opponents, he really reminds me of Mourinho, but obviously everyone has their own characteristics.”
The 36-year-old will become the third manager for the Beneamata this season, and will have nine matches to prove his worth to the Nerazzurri President.
Inter Milan will take on Genoa in their next game at San Siro on Sunday, April 1.
