The Nerazzurri head coach has stated that he would not be running the rule over the transfers at the club, and remarked on the future of Sneijder at San Siro
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wesley-Sneijder-c36799 had a terrible season last term, and was vocal about his discontent. He was played out of position by Claudio Ranieri owing to injuries in the squad. It seemed like it would be his last season at the club, with
reported interest from Manchester United in the Dutch international.
However, that has just remained speculation as Manchester United have not shown an interest in the Oranje midfielder. Sneijder started playing better under the coaching of Andrea Stramaccioni, however, there is speculation that
the Beneamata seek to offload the midfielder. However, no club is willing to meet the high wage demands of the player.
Stramaccioni stated that the Dutch national player is a part of his plans for the upcoming season, however, if there are orders to offload the player to another club, he would not be obstructing any such transfer. He remarked that
he did not intend on misusing the powers at his disposal, and would leave the transfer decisions to the higher ups at the club.
The former Primavera boss has stated that the former Real Madrid man is a phenomenal player, and went on to state:
“Sneijder is fundamental from a technical and tactical point of view, but I can’t say that he is not for sale. That would be an abuse of my power. I would only ask the President to think carefully should an important offer arrive.”
Inter have been extremely busy in the transfer market, and have been offloading players from their roster, as well as adding new faces to the club.
