The Nerazzurri head coach diverted questions on his managerial future at the club, and looked to concentrate on the week 35 fixture of the Serie A against
Cesena.
The manager was in a seemingly happy mood after his side came out winners on matchday 35 of the Serie A. He has remained unbeaten in his short tenure as the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan
coach and was further quizzed on the possibility of a permanent move at the San Siro.
There have been glowing reports by Inter directors over the progression of the manager, and even Massimo Moratti has stated that there is the possibility of Stramaccioni
getting a permanent spot at the Inter helm.
When quizzed over the possibility of his stay, Stramaccioni cheekily replied that his vast number of representatives would be dealing with the contract negotiations, he
further went on to state that the game against Cesena was very tricky. In his opinion, it was the most difficult game he has managed since his arrival at the club, and further stated that the club would have lost such matches in the past. He further went on
to state:
“Will I stay? It depends, my 12 agents have to negotiate my salary. It was the most difficult game today, because we could catch third place and in the past this sort of
situation prompted the team to slip up.”
Inter did not start with the right tempo and went behind against a resilient Cesena, however the Beneamata replied with great impetus and scored twice to seal the victory
against the bottom ranked league. The tactician further mentioned that he was impressed by the Inter display and also by the determination of Cesena, and commented:
“We kept the ball well and were consistent. The lads also showed character to turn the result around and win a tough match. Although
Cesena were already relegated, they played at 100 per cent and really
honoured Serie A.”
Mauro Zarate was again the saviour for the Beneamata as he came on as a substitute to secure the win for Stramaccioni, and regarding the on loan striker, the coach stated:
“I don’t think it is opportune to talk about these issues here. We are focused only on the next
game.”
Stramaccioni’s appointment as the manager would be permanent if he ensures Champions League football for the club.
