The former head coach of the Nerazzurri Primavera outfit has remarked on the ongoing controversy that seems to be hovering after the match of the Milanello derby.
The writing was on the wall for the match to be filled with controversy in the Milan derby, and that is exactly what happened in the match that was played between Inter Milan and AC Milan. The Nerazzurri outfit came out as the eventual victors in the match

It was a scrappy game and the Rossoneri were complaining over the proceedings of the match and also remarked that they were at the wrong end of many refereeing decisions in the match. Allegri felt that the referee had been favourable to their opposition
in the match at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

Stramaccioni went on to commend the performances of his team and mentioned that it was imperative for them to play to their greatest strengths and also remarked that they kept the pressure on the Rossoneri outfit even though they were a man down for nearly
all of the second half.
He went on to comment:
“I saw two great things, which were the approach Inter took to the derby, especially right at the start. I had not seen such aggression and determination from my men often. In a difficult situation with half the match a man down, we did not allow Milan to
perform their greatest strength, which is close passing in and around the box. We forced them wide and never stopped trying to hit them on the break.”
The Italian outfit is currently sitting in the third position of the Serie A table.
